The Main library in Walterboro (600 Hampton Street) is the only library that offers notary services to the community at this time.  The library has only three notaries on staff.

Notary services are available on a first come first service basis and is subject to the availability of the notary.

All patrons needing notary service must present a valid picture I.D. and all documents must be unsigned before notary service can be performed.   If witnesses are needed,  it is recommended that the patron bring witnesses with them, as the use of library staff for witnessing documents cannot be guaranteed.

The Notary Service Fee is $2.00 per notarized document.  The library accepts cash and credit/debit card payments.
