REGISTRATION POLICY
The Colleton County Memorial Library serves all residents of Colleton County. Service will not be denied or abridged because of age or race, or religious, social, economic, or political background. Persons residing outside the county but owning property within the county will be considered residents. All residents of Colleton County may register for a library card free of charge. At the time of registration, all children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other adult who agrees to assume responsibility for a child's card.
Non-residents may register for a library card after paying an annual registration fee. After the annual fee has been paid the non-resident will be entitled to the same library privileges as residents.
Use of the library or its services may be denied for due cause. Such causes may be failure to return books or pay fines for a card for which a patron has accepted responsibility, destruction of public property, disturbance of other patrons, or other objectionable conduct on library premises. Such action shall be recorded in writing, explaining the circumstances.

Parental Print and Non-Print Permission Agreement

As the parent or legal guardian of the child, I grant permission for this child to access print and non-print resources at the Colleton County Memorial Library. I understand that some material and information may be objectionable, but I accept the responsibility and agree to allow my child age 12 to 18 to use the library independently. My child under 12 has permission by me to accompany my child to the library and assumes responsibility for my child while using the library.
